Why is working on customer projects so enjoyable?

In projects, communication between people is becoming increasingly central. Our contacts come from a wide range of areas, with varying levels of IT expertise. We need to understand the customer and their requirements, and, above all, we must ensure the customer understands us.

What has been my most exciting project and why?

The Bossard D365 implementation. Bossard operates globally and is gradually rolling out D365 in all its country organizations. While we all bring our SEEBURGER tools to the table, this project also required analyzing the processes and legacy systems of each country, as well as establishing a mutual understanding with the customer and other service providers. Understanding the people and their cultures in distant countries was also crucial. All of this took place in English, the project language.

Where can I provide unique added value for customers?

Many years of experience in the SEEBURGER environment, combined with an understanding of the diverse processes in the supply chain and an instinct for what customers expect from their service providers.

Bossard migration – a very complex environment, but the colleagues are always helpful and kind. This allows me to work on exciting topics without unnecessary stress.

I consider myself stress-resistant and hardworking. When things absolutely need to get done, I stick with them until they’re finished, no matter how long it takes. I firmly believe that all problems and implementations in the EDI field are solvable, and I strive to embody that mindset.

Why is working on customer projects enjoyable?

For me, every EDI connection is like a puzzle. Sometimes it’s simple and quick to solve, sometimes it’s more complex, and occasionally you have to create one or two missing pieces yourself before the puzzle truly fits. That’s where the fun lies for me. But at the end of it all, there’s always a completed result, a sense of closure, and that’s something I deeply value.
