Founded in 2018, aurebus has been profitable from the outset and has maintained an average annual growth rate of approximately 20%. The company is entirely self-financed and owner-managed, ensuring independent strategic decision-making and long-term stability.
We are a team of consultants, project managers, and developers with many years of professional experience. Internationally positioned, we operate across borders and industries. Our team is fluent in both German and English, enabling seamless collaboration in international projects.
We are a remote-first company, with most of our team based in Germany. In addition, we have colleagues working from Bulgaria, Portugal, the USA, and various locations in Asia. This international setup enables us to support clients across time zones and bring diverse perspectives to every project.

Where does the name aurebus come from? It is made up of the words Marc Aurel and Business, and is emphasized on the E [aurEbus]. Inspired by Marc Aurel, the Stoic emperor, our core values are rooted in the teachings of Stoic philosophy. We emphasize Wisdom, reflection, ethical responsibility and integrity in all our actions and decisions.
