Senior EDI Integration Consultant – Remote (m/f/d)

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is the central prerequisite for daily life as we know it. Whether it’s paying with a debit card at a restaurant, the availability of groceries in the supermarket, ordering goods online, tracking Amazon packages, or booking your next vacation accommodation on Airbnb – all of this works because data is exchanged between IT systems.

What to Expect:

  • You will advise our clients on how to efficiently implement their integration challenges.
  • You will analyze customer requirements and create concepts, develop new services, EDI mappings, or processes on our cloud platform based on SEEBURGER BIS6.
  • You will implement complex technical integration processes and solutions with SEEBURGER products (BIS6).
  • Depending on your qualifications, you will take responsibility for individual sub-projects, entire projects, or the entire customer relationship.
  • You will primarily work remotely in interdisciplinary teams. Occasionally, you will have the opportunity to work on-site with our clients and gain personal insights.
  • You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud and consulting services.

What We Are Looking For:

  • You have a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification, excellent experience with a common programming language, and good problem-solving skills (“connect the dots”) while preferring an independent and self-reliant working style.
  • You are IT-savvy and have solid general IT knowledge (OS, DB, networks, security, etc.).
  • You enjoy communicating with people – also over the phone and speak fluent English and German.
  • Ideally, you have a few years of experience in the EDI field or even several years of experience with one of the major integration platforms, preferably with SEEBURGER BIS6, but also with Axway, SAP PI/PO, Tibco, IBM, Cleo, Software AG, etc.
  • You are familiar with terms like EDIFACT, VDA, Odette, ANSI X12, xCBL, cXML, openTrans, and SAP-IDoc or EDIINT AS2, X.400 / P7, FTP/S, HTTP/S, Webservices, SOAP, REST API, SFTP, or SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, ProALPHA, ABAS, or Navision.
  • You have experience with cloud services or cloud infrastructures (Microsoft Azure, AWS).
