150 Years of Soennecken – and We’re Proud to Be Part of the Journey
Since 2013, we have been supporting Soennecken in various projects in the EDI and B2B environment. The focus is on solutions involving SEEBURGER BIS as well as strategic and technical support in the implementation of integration projects.
Soennecken is the leading trading and service cooperation for the office supply industry in Europe. With around 500 member companies, approximately 540 employees (as of 2024), Soennecken supplies specialist retailers with products, logistics services, and digital solutions for everything related to the office – from traditional office supplies to modern IT solutions.
Since 2013, we have been supporting Soennecken in various projects in the EDI and B2B environment. The focus is on solutions based on SEEBURGER BIS, as well as strategic and technical support for the implementation of integration projects. The collaboration is structured, partnership-based, and focused on clear results – a solid foundation for efficiently realizing demanding IT initiatives.
Our Projects
Soennecken eG is celebrating its 150th anniversary. A remarkable milestone for a cooperative that continues to evolve, including in its digital infrastructure.
Our collaboration focuses on SEEBURGER BIS, system integration, and the structured implementation of scalable, reliable processes. One of our early joint efforts was the migration to BIS6, with a strong focus on automation, standardization, and long-term maintainability. You can find more details in our project reference.
Currently, we’re supporting the D365 ERP rollout at Soennecken, aligning new ERP structures with existing B2B and EDI communication flows. The goal is to ensure seamless integration between legacy interfaces and future-ready data processes.
Successful partnership extending beyond project work
In March 2025, we had the opportunity to attend Soennecken’s internal trade fair (s. picture above). On May 19th, we’ll be celebrating the 150-year anniversary together at Bleibtreusee in Brühl (picture below). A great moment to recognize long-term cooperation and mutual trust in digital transformation initiatives.
